Reckonery dashboard concept showing daily digital asset analysis for students

Intelligence over emotion

Strategic digital asset allocation, informed by daily AI analysis

Reckonery reviews market data overnight and delivers a short, readable report each morning, so you can make a considered allocation decision in the ten minutes between lectures rather than guessing from headlines.

Shown above: a representative view of how risk-adjusted performance is tracked daily across a diversified basket of digital assets, rather than a single speculative position.

Methodology

How Reckonery evaluates risk before you do

The model does not predict overnight riches. It is built to reduce the number of poor decisions made under incomplete information, which is where most losses in digital assets actually originate.

01

Data ingestion

Price history, trading volume, volatility bands and liquidity signals are pulled from multiple sources throughout the day.

02

Predictive modelling

Statistical models identify short-term trend strength and compare current conditions against historical patterns.

03

Risk scoring

Each asset receives a risk score weighted toward capital preservation, not toward the highest possible upside.

04

Allocation guidance

The output is a plain-language recommendation on position sizing, framed around your stated risk tolerance.

The system is designed to be conservative by default. Where signal confidence is low, the recommendation defaults to holding or reducing exposure, not to taking a position. This bias toward caution is deliberate: it is easier to recover from a missed opportunity than from a position sized beyond what a student budget can absorb.

Daily intelligence

One report each morning, written for people with lectures to attend

Every report is structured the same way: a short summary of overnight movement, the current risk score for your watched assets, and a single recommended action. No charts to decode, no jargon to look up.

  • Delivered before 8am UK time, so the decision is made before your day starts, not during it.
  • Each recommendation includes the reasoning behind it, so you can learn the logic over time rather than relying on it blindly.
  • Performance of past recommendations is tracked and visible, including the occasions where the model was wrong.
  • Designed to take under three minutes to read in full.
Risk management

Built to prioritise what you keep, not just what you might gain

Core framework

Risk-Adjusted Return Index

Rather than ranking assets purely on recent price gains, Reckonery weighs projected return against observed volatility. An asset with a smaller gain but far steadier behaviour will often outrank a sharper, more erratic mover.

Digital assets are volatile by nature, and no analysis system, however well modelled, removes that volatility. What the model does is make the trade-off explicit: every recommendation states the level of risk being accepted in exchange for the projected return, so the decision is informed rather than reactive.

For a student allocating a limited monthly amount, the practical effect is simple. The system is more likely to suggest smaller, steadier positions across a spread of assets than a single concentrated bet, because a concentrated loss is harder to recover from on a student budget than a missed gain.

Educational note: past performance of any model, including this one, does not guarantee future results. Reckonery is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for your own judgement about what you can afford to risk.
Use cases

Three ways students use Reckonery

These are illustrative approaches, not guaranteed outcomes. Every scenario assumes a modest, consistent contribution rather than a lump sum.

Low commitment

Spare loan instalment

A small, fixed amount set aside each term, allocated only when the daily report's risk score for a given asset stays below a conservative threshold.

Priority: capital preservation over three years, with contributions treated as learning cost if conditions turn unfavourable.
Structured learning

Weekly review habit

Reading the morning report without acting on it at first, to build familiarity with how risk scores move before committing any funds.

Priority: understanding the reasoning behind recommendations before increasing exposure.
Long horizon

Graduation-length allocation

Spreading contributions across the full course of study, using the risk score to decide when to pause rather than when to chase a rally.

Priority: a position sized to be forgotten about for long stretches, reviewed monthly rather than daily.

Questions students usually ask before starting

How accurate is the AI, really?

No model is accurate every day, and we do not claim otherwise. Historical recommendation performance, including incorrect calls, is published alongside the daily report so you can judge the track record for yourself rather than take our word for it.

Is this the same as day trading?

No. The methodology is built around holding periods measured in weeks or months, not hours. Recommendations are designed to reduce the frequency of decisions, not to encourage constant buying and selling.

Can I lose money using Reckonery?

Yes. Digital assets carry inherent price risk, and the platform's risk scoring reduces exposure to volatility but cannot remove it. You should only allocate funds you could afford to lose entirely.

How much do I need to start?

There is no minimum enforced by the platform itself. The daily report is designed to be useful whether you are allocating a small, regular amount or reviewing a position you already hold.

Do I need any prior investing knowledge?

No. Each report explains the reasoning behind its recommendation in plain language, with the aim of building your understanding of risk over time rather than requiring it upfront.

There is no obligation to fund anything today. Reviewing a single daily report costs nothing and takes under three minutes, which is a reasonable place to begin forming a view.
